The Siming Mountain area is vast, rich in natural landscapes and cultural history, but traditional static signage offers limited information and fails to meet the needs of modern tourists for in-depth, interactive exploration. Tourists often face route confusion and inconvenience in obtaining information, impacting their overall experience. To improve the service quality and management efficiency of the scenic area, this project introduced a localized smart navigation solution, aiming to provide tourists with better services through technological means.

Siming Mountain has complex terrain and scattered attractions, making traditional guidance methods ineffective. Tourists struggle to easily obtain real-time location, route planning, and in-depth descriptions of attractions; frequent rain and fog also affect sign visibility. Furthermore, ensuring that intelligent equipment blends seamlessly with the natural scenery and maintains the cultural characteristics of the scenic area is a significant challenge for project implementation.

We deployed smart signage integrating multimedia interaction, real-time information updates, and multilingual services. These signs are designed with local Siming Mountain cultural elements in mind, providing accurate real-time navigation, attraction explanations, and safety reminders. Visitors can scan a QR code to access personalized tour routes and enjoy immersive self-guided tours, achieving harmonious interaction between people, scenery, and technology.

This solution significantly enhances the visitor experience: intelligent services make tours more convenient and safer, while interactive features increase engagement. Localized design strengthens the cultural identity of the scenic area, and intelligent management provides data support for operators, facilitating precise decision-making. Ultimately, it achieves a win-win situation of improved service quality, visitor satisfaction, and efficient management, setting a new benchmark for smart cultural tourism.
