Xitang Ancient Town, a national 5A-level tourist attraction, boasts a rich cultural heritage and a large number of intelligent facilities and equipment. With the deepening of smart scenic area construction, the scale of assets such as various intelligent signage, guide equipment, and monitoring devices is constantly expanding, and the traditional manual inspection and maintenance model can no longer meet the needs of efficient management. The scenic area urgently needs to establish an intelligent facility operation and maintenance management system to achieve refined management of equipment assets.

The ancient town faces three major operation and maintenance challenges: the wide distribution and diverse types of equipment make asset inventory difficult; fault reporting relies on manual inspections, resulting in low response efficiency; and the lack of a data-supported preventive maintenance mechanism affects equipment lifespan. At the same time, the unique layout of small bridges and flowing water in the ancient town greatly inconveniences equipment maintenance.

We deployed an intelligent facility cloud maintenance management platform, achieving three major innovative breakthroughs: visually displaying the distribution location and real-time status of all equipment through an electronic map; establishing a full lifecycle file for equipment, enabling one-click repair reporting and automatic work order allocation; and using big data analysis to predict equipment failure risks, achieving a shift from passive maintenance to proactive prevention. The system also specifically optimized the mobile inspection function for the ancient town environment.

The platform delivers significant management improvements: equipment inspection efficiency increases by 60%, and repair response time is reduced to within 30 minutes; equipment lifespan is extended by approximately 25%, and annual maintenance costs are reduced by 40%; digital management provides data support for scenic area decision-making. Since the system went live, the operational rate of smart facilities in Xitang Ancient Town has consistently remained above 98%, providing tourists with a better service experience.
